One of Liverpool’s most popular tourist attractions is ‘The Beatle’s Story’ which is situated at Liverpool’s famous historic Albert Dock. The story tells the lives of all four Beatles, their culture and rise to worldwide fame through their music, lyrics and fashion trends. The story is audio guide narrated by Julia Lennon, John’s sister and gives the opportunity to see some rare and incredible memorabilia as you walk through.

One popular tourist attraction you will not want to miss is a visit to the famous Cavern Club. The club hosts the very latest generation of artists as well as boasting links to its famous past including The Beatles. The Cavern Club is open to the public and has entertainment scheduled each night of the week as well as during the daytime on weekends.

Anyone visiting Liverpool has to take a stroll down Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields both of which are incorporated into a ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ with guides giving snippets of Beatle’s history and showing you places which gave rise to many popular Beatle’s lyrics and song titles.

For those who are interested in other popular tourist attractions which are not related to the Beatles there are a multitude of museum and art galleries to visit in the City of Liverpool.

Liverpool is famous for its historical role as one of the world busiest ports, this can be discovered by visiting The Merseyside Maritime Museum. The museum hosts a gallery which tells of maritime tragedies such as the Titanic, while the Life at Sea display depicts how merchant navy ships provided a lifeline during times of both war and peace.

A popular tourist attraction which is based in the Merseyside Maritime Museum is the International Slavery Museum which enables you to discover the historical and present day features of slavery. The museum has many stories of bravery in times of adversity, many of which are told here for the first time.
